Clinical Director Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP - Chandler, AZ

 

Are you a Speech-Language Pathologist ready to move into a management position?  We are searching for a Clinical Director for a successful growing pediatric company with a focus on in-home/clinic therapy services.  The Clinical Director will be responsible for supervising and directing all aspects of the therapy departments including employees, budgets, technology, and operations with the goal of ensuring maximum performance.
This is a full-time, salaried, office-based position Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.  The Clinical Director will be officed out of the Chandler location and have limited travel to 2 other clinics located in Phoenix and Tucson.  The travel will be day trips and you will have the use of a Company Car.

Responsibilities:

*  The Clinical Director will devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth
*  Assume responsibility for budgeting and resourcing
*  Plan and oversee all patient care or administrative operations and programs
*  Assist to recruit employees to ensure the department is staffed with qualified personnel
*  Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
*  Provide personnel with clinical training and opportunities for continuous development
*  Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary
*  Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies, and quality standards
*  The Clinical Director will manage a small caseload in addition to administrative duties (20% caseload, 80% administrative)

Requirements:

*  Previous experience running a clinic
*  3-4 years minimum experience working in a pediatric healthcare clinic
*  Experience working with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD)
*  Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
*  Experience with augmentative and alternative communication devices preferred, and must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
*  Must be willing to travel between practice locations


Licenses/Certification:

- CPR Certification
- Article 9 Certification
- Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record



Qualifications: You will need to hold a Master's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, and a current state license (or be eligible for same)
*  Previous experience running a clinic
*  At least 3 - 5 years of pediatric experience required as a licensed therapist
*  Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
